Q: Error message when attempting to save - cannot write to C\Program files\Broken Sword\Saves

Q: Error message when attempting to save - cannot write to C\Program files\Broken Sword\Saves

A: This error message is displayed when the game does not have the necessary permissions to create the Save files. Please ensure you are launching the game with administrative permissions. You can do this by doing the following:

Right-click the game�s shortcut either on the desktop or the start menu
Click �Properties�
On the �Compatibility� tab, ensure the �Run this program as an administrator� box is ticked
Run the game using the shortcut

Alternatively, simply right-click the shortcut for the game and choose the �Run as administrator� option.
