Q: I'm having problems installing the game using SETUP95.EXE. Q: Having problems with Broken Sword 2? Q: I have no logo or intro sequence; no music or speech (but sound effects still work). Q: Installation fails with error message "T:\PeteE\cd1.id contains an invalid path". Q: Error message when attempting to save - cannot write to C\Program files\Broken Sword\Saves Q: I'm having problems installing the game using SETUP95.EXE. A: To solve this problem you will need to by-pass the Sold Out installer and install the game using the SETUP.EXE file which is on the CD ROM.
NOTE: If you get a further error: "SETUP.EXE - Unable to Locate DLL" The dynamic link library DSETUP.DLL could not be found in the specified path. Please do the following:
Q: When I try to install the game using SETUP.EXE I get the error "SETUP.EXE - Unable to Locate DLL" The dynamic link library DSETUP.DLL could not be found in the specified path. A: What you need to do is copy the file DSETUP.DLL from the \DIRECTX on the CD ROM to C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM folder. To do this follow the instructions below.

DEVICEHIGH=C:\CDROM\TAISATAP.SYS /D:CD1 this should be changed to; DEVICEHIGH=C:\CDROM\TAISATAP.SYS /D:MSCD001 In the autoexec.bat file there will be a line: MSCDEX /D:CD1 this should be changed to MSCDEX /D:MSCD001 after re-booting the problem should be fixed. Q: Installation fails with error message "T:\PeteE\cd1.id contains an invalid path". A: Map the CD-ROM drive to a letter other than M.

Please ensure you are launching the game with administrative access - you can check this by doing the following:
